Sunday, May 28th, I became a father. At 3:06am we welcomed Jackson Stephen Smith into our family. Yes, he’s a little ahead of schedule, but doing very well and is in excellent care.

Some people have been asking me what’s going to be happening to Tiger Admin now that Shuttle is being released. To be honest, I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be making an updated version to match the shuttle XHTML, but what I’m not sure of is the continued existence of the current two versions.
I love Getting Real. Agility is the key to the web, I am sure of that now more than ever. Small teams can move quickly, lightly, and effectively. But is there room for small teams in large organizations? I sure hope so.
Over the past few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to be interviewed by the WaSP’s Education Task Force. It was a delightful experience, and I’m humbled to have been considered for this process.
As I hinted in a previous post, life is going to be getting a lot more hectic come mid-August. By the doctors best guess, on August 8 my wife and I will become the proud parents of a baby boy. This is our first child, and therefore I am equal parts exhilarated and terrified.
